Mission :
In line with Malaysia's vision to achieve a developed country status by 2020, there is a
pressing need to integrate into the new economy. In addition, we need to attract talents
to our country, as well as nurture our talents within. Consistent with this, Asia Pacific
Diligence Sdn. Bhd. is organizing the above Conference and Expo with the theme: Leveraging
the New Economy through Venture Capital and Entrepreneurship. APVC Expo 2001
brings together venture capitalists, angels, entrepreneurs, netrepreneurs and financiers
from the Asia Pacific Region. There will be speeches by distinguished speakers,
presentations by investee companies as well as ample trade matching and networking
opportunities. This Conference and Expo is timely, relevant and important in view that
there is an increasing need to upgrade our Venture Capital industry and to match funding
with the investee companies.
Format:
The APVC Expo 2001 is a three day event designed to bring together venture capitalists,
angels, entrepreneurs, netrepreneurs and financiers from the Asia Pacific region. It is a
key networking and trade-matching opportunity for professional investors who would
be able to meet with the principals of investee companies and discuss potential
investments. It is also an ideal event for those who would like to learn more about the
venture capital and netrepreneurship industry.
At the APVC Expo 2001, each day consists of two sessions -
morning and afternoon . The first day, 17 January 2001, will consist of a series of 3
workshops aimed at developing valuable personal, communication and presentation skills
necessary to achieve success as an entrepreneur or businessman/businesswoman. The
following 2 days, 18 and 19 January 2001, will feature talks by distinguished speakers in
the venture capital, entrepreneurship and dot.com industries.
