Ms Sarina Karim is the Chief Executive Officer of MSC Venture Corporation Sdn bhd (MSCVC), a company which she was instrumental in setting up in February 1999. MSCVC provides venture capital financing and value-added assistance to high growth potential IT and Multimedia SMEs in order to spur their rapid growth into successful world-class companies.

Ms Sarina is also Vice President of MDC ACCESS in the Multimedia Development Corporation Sdn Bhd (MDC) where she works to assist IT?multimedia SMEs to gain international market access and become global players.

Ms Sarina holds a masters of Arts Degree, M.A. (Hons) in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge, England and a Certified Diploma in Accounting & Finance. She joined the MDC in early 1997 after spending more than 8 years in a Malaysian multinational conglomerate in the actuarial and business development fields and in managing the operations of an IT company and its Deputy General Manager. She has also been selected as one of the World Economic Forum's Years 2000 Global Leader of Tomorrow.
